TXPFHA had their
first get-together on Feb. 18, that drew 47 adults plus children out
to join in the fun and put their ideas together. It was a wonderful
gathering where people met and many positive ideas flowed as we all talked
about our exciting future with our beloved breed.
We were blessed with gracious hosts, Mickey & Donna Beddingfield and their
spectacular home made an ideal setting.
BBQ and every
imaginable culinary delight were there to feast on, the food was wall to wall,
there was so much to try. We had a very enjoyable social, getting to know
many special Paso folks!
The children
delighted in taking turns hitting a piņata to release all the goodies. It
took many mighty blows for the colorful horse to give up it's treasures.
When it was
discovered that a truck was stuck, the big boys gravitated to help and lined up
with their trucks and tractors to have a turn at their own outdoor fun, that we
dubbed "The TX Tractor Pull". It was actually very
entertaining and somewhat exciting when the truck stuck up to it's axles deep in
mud, was finally pulled free.
Thanks to Martha
and Darla, we got some excellent pictures of our gathering to share!
